AccelerateATX is a STEM Racing team based in Austin, Texas. Founded three years ago by Beckett Raftus, we have quickly made a name for ourselves. In our first year competing, we secured 4th place at the 2024 STEM Racing US National Finals, and additionally took home the award for Best Pit Display. We also clinched 4th place at the 2025 US National Finals. At the recent 2026 US National Finals in April, we reached a career-best finish of 2nd place, making the podium for the first time.

While most STEM Racing teams come from one school, our team is composed of a diverse group of high schoolers from all across the United States. Three of our members are homeschooled, two attend the Liberal Arts and Science Academy, and one is based in Chicago. While we don’t all attend the same school, our drive for success, ability to think outside the box, and various skillsets complement one another, which has made us a perfect team.

This October, we are excited to represent both Austin, Texas, and the United States at the World Finals in Singapore. We can’t wait to showcase our talent and hard work on a global stage! If you’d like to support our journey, you can find more information here.
