What is STEM Racing?

STEM Racing is a global program where students design miniature F1 cars and race them on a straight track over 64 feet long to see who has the quickest car. Although having the quickest car is a large portion of the competition, there is a lot that happens behind the scenes. Teams are required to design and write portfolios about the work they have done over the season and create an 8-foot-tall pit display showing off their progress, accomplishments, sponsors, and more to in-person viewers. Overall, a STEM Racing team needs a strong sense of hard work, responsibility, and teamwork to advance to the World Finals every year.
