Our Nationals Results…
This past week, we traveled to Charlotte, North Carolina, to compete in the STEM Racing U.S. National Finals! It was an amazing experience, where we got to connect with other teams from across the country and learn about their journeys to Nationals. STEM Racing also treated us to some once-in-a-lifetime opportunities, such as visiting the facilities of General Motors and Hendrick Motorsports, and walking the track of the Charlotte Motor Speedway. We are so thankful for STEM Racing for these experiences, as well as the chance to build our model Formula 1 team.
During the racing sessions, we saw our engineering division’s hard work pay off, as we were seeded fifth going into the Knockout Racing. In the end, our car made it to the semifinals, a performance we were extremely proud of. At the awards ceremony, we were honored to be recognized by the judges as the runner-up in the Professional Class. This placement secured our spot at the World Finals in Singapore, where we can’t wait to represent the United States for the first time on a global stage.
Singapore, here we come!
