4 Meetings, 6 Members, and Only 3 Months until Regionals
A few weeks ago, we held our first pre-season gathering, where we only had four team members. One of our main goals following that meeting was to secure two more students to complete our team. Through social media efforts, we were able to do so within the span of a few days.
That following Sunday, we held our official season kickoff meeting, where we assigned each member’s roles and their specific tasks. These included creating a wind tunnel, designing car prototypes, contacting sponsors, and posting on social media. Additionally, we outlined and documented season goals and deadlines, giving us a sense of structure and concrete objectives to aim for.
Since our kickoff meeting, we have held two virtual meetings to share updates on our tasks’ completion statuses and discuss new to-dos. Thanks to our members’ responsibility and diligence, we have already made significant progress on the assigned duties. Car prototypes are being manufactured, sponsors have been contacted, and our social media audience has grown. We are also staying on top of our deadlines, which is vital as Regionals swiftly approaches.
We plan to post every other weekend with summaries of what we've accomplished and announcements of any major events. In some of our upcoming posts, we'll be sharing more about each of our team members and their roles, so keep an eye out for those. Thank you for reading, and we hope you'll continue to follow our journey this season!
