Less than Two Months Until Nationals!

We are counting down the days until the National Finals! This will be our first in-person competition of the season, a prospect that’s very exciting to the team. STEM Racing teams from all across the United States will gather in Charlotte, NC in mid-April for an incredible four-day competition. All of our members, especially our rookies, for whom this will be an entirely new experience, are very much looking forward to this event!

As much as we are anticipating the competition, we are also working diligently on necessary projects. Engineering team members have been iterating over our car design and testing out different types of paints for the outside of our car. The social media and marketing members have been keeping up well with our posting schedule, churning out content on both Instagram and YouTube. All of us have upped our sponsorship efforts, earnestly contacting various companies and organizations in the hope that we will find more sponsors to fund our journey to Nationals. As a whole, we are also making immense progress on our portfolios. These are documents that detail multiple aspects of our season. For example, our Enterprise Portfolio describes our marketing processes, sponsors, and social media goals. There is also an Engineering Portfolio as well as a Project Management Portfolio, leaving us with full to-do lists as Nationals approaches.

Nevertheless, we can’t wait for Nationals to come, and we’re excited to keep updating you on our progress via these blog posts!
